Crafty Crafty! :D

SO...... Do you like this necklace??? :D
I made it for my mom for Christmas, because she really wanted one and I couldn't find one, so I made it, and it actually turned out really cute! :D
I need to make jewelry more often! haha.
Here's how you make it....
Any size of beads you want (and any color)
Jewelry wire (I ran out towards the end and used like floral wire ish stuff)
A chain that you can make as long as you want (Or if you want to be super crafty, you can make your own chain! :D)
Jewelry clipper things with the round ends so you can spin the wire.
And the clamp things that do your necklace up! :)

1. You decide how far up you want the beads to go.
2. Cut the wire and attach it to the necklace, then slide the bead on the necklace and then twist the ends to make cute little swirleys.
3. Do it until you have it the thickness you want it (And you will want to have different sizes of beads to make it really cute! :D
4. you put the clips/clamps things on.
AND WAHLA!! :D haha.

It only takes a few hours to do too, so it's totally worth it!! :D

P.S. In my Christmas day post, you'll see my mom wearing it! :D haha. I will do that post soon! haha. :)

Dates....

So first off.... Pumpkin Wreath Tutorial coming soon! :D

Next... Aust was cutting cheese and used the bag to cut and cut a hole in the bag.... ya.. he had fun with it... haha.

Saturday I went to a women's conference with my mom, Sheena, and Mackenzie... it was SO good! :D

I learned about understanding the marriage relationship, about trails, and about the importance of family meals around the table, and about anxiety! :D haha.

These were the centerpieces:

Mackenzie, Sheena, Mommy, and I eating lunch! :)

This is how Mine and Aust's Sunday goes... ha.

Isn't he just sexy with the steve earcle look?? Hahaha. JK!! :D

Then Aust was so amazed that someone could take over his computer... the guy was moving the mouse and Austin wasn't doing anything and it was crazy to watch! hahaha.

Saturday we went on a date with Sheen, Ty, Mark, Val, Kirk, Kathryn, and Hannah... it was so fun! we ate at winger's! :) haha. Then Sheena,Tyler, Austin, and I went shopping at Winco and I got supplies for Trail Mix! :)

SO YUMMY! And then I stuck it in a bowl and mixed it up.. the bowl was MASSIVE!!!

(Idea from Simply Sadie Jane)

I added some of my own stuff though! :)

Almonds, Peanuts, Mixed Nuts, Dried Blueberries, Dried Mango, Dried Mango Pineapple, Dried Bananas, Dried Apples, Golden Raisins, Raisins, Cran Cherries, Cran Strawberries, Dried Apricots, and Sunflower Seeds! :)

Definitely cheaper than store bought trail mix... it made TONS!!!!

Then after you stir it up, put in ziploc bags! :) Mine made 2 PACKED gallon storage ziploc bags full! It's a great snack during school! :)

Especially since studies show that people who eat 1 1/2 ounces of nuts a day are more healthy! :D YES!!!

Then for din din I made homeade Wendy's Sweet and Spicy Asian Chicken...

You need:

Chicken (Breaded or not)

And Sweet Chili Sauce.

Then put the sauce on the cooked chicken.... (I would recommend doing it a crockpot dinner. It tastes SO much better... but I didn't have time so this worked good too! :) ha.)

I got this idea from my mom... aka the BEST COOK EVER!! :D

And I'm not kidding you when I say this... It tastes EXACTLY like the Wendy's stuff! :D SO YUMMY!! :D
Do you like how Austin set the table?

Mountain Dew in the cup, haha. Then the chicken, and Homeade fries... OUR FAVORITE! :D

Well have a great day!! :D

Shrimp, Cocktail Sauce, Corn, and Brita! YUM!! :)

So last night I asked Austin what he wanted for din din and he opened the freezer and kept staring at the shrimp and then said, "What about some shrimp?" haha.
Well we didn't have any cocktail sauce... so I made some!! YUM!! And It was delish.. I used chili powder instead of horseradish! :)

So I grabbed the shrimp and set them on a plate to thaw :)

Then Austin went out to our garden and got corn so we could have corn on the cob.

He said, "Wow everything we're having tonight we grew in our garden!"

So I said, "Ya cause you can totally grow shrimp in a garden!!" hahaha.

Sometimes I wonder about my husband.. haha. jk.. he was just trying to make me laugh and it worked :)

(We both like to cut our corn off the cob to eat it!)

(Austin was enjoying that shrimp ha.)

And we like to season our corn with lots of butter, salt, pepper, and Seasoning salt! :)

Ok... so we have a BRITA pitcher thingy and we have been needing to change it for a while now.

Well Austin really wanted to try putting milk through the filter and I told him he can't until we are changing the filter...

So last night we decided to change it, so Austin didn't forget about the milk experiment and he grabbed the milk and started pouring it in the pitcher...

AND.... GUESS. What. Happened!!!!
It turned it to water!!

crystal clear water.. and we tasted it and it didn't even taste like milk, it tasted like water!

It was not what I was expecting! It was awesome! :)

Austin was like, "well if we ever run out of water we now know that we can use milk..." And I said, "Uhh... pretty sure we'll run out of milk before we ever run out of water." hahhahaha. :)
But the filter was really dirty and it got even dirtier when Austin put the milk in.... so we said goodbye to our filter and put in a new one! :) And it is delicious water again! :D

(old filter)

Have a wonderful thursday! :)

Today at church I got sustained as a CTR 6 primary teacher!! YAY!

I told Austin when we first moved into our ward that I would LOVE to be a primary teacher, so when they asked me if I wanted to be one I was ESTATIC!!! I am so excited!!

This is my first calling other than a substitute for the sunbeams! haha.

Oh yay! I hope the kids enjoy it as much as I will!!!

And the funny thing is, my team partner is named Aubree too!!! haha. :)

That's gonna get confusing! :)

Tonight I'm making Meatloaf for din din!

And Onion rings and fries!! :) haha.

I know I know, it's not the most nutricious meal, but man is it YUMMY!! :D

Have a great sabbath!
