OWWEE!!!! ha.

Well I know I said I wasn't gonna post again until next week, but I decided to take a break from my stinkin homework overload! haha.

I'm going to share with you what I've been up to this past week other than school. haha

Well last Friday (the 23rd) I got my blood drawn for the first time!!

Remember when I tried giving blood in high school?

Well this time I was actually able to!! hahaha.

Except I wasn't giving blood.. They drew my blood so I could know what my blood type was. haha.

Well the lady said the same thing to me, "You have small veins!" But she did draw my blood. She stuck the needle in and it didn't go into the vein {and I've heard all these scary stories about the nurses digging the needle into the skin trying to find the vein, but that didn't happen to me.} so the nurse just gently moved the needle around and all the sudden I felt my heartbeat in my arm and saw blood coming out! It was crazy! And usually I don't like blood and I don't like needles and I don't watch when I get shots or anything, but since this was my first time giving blood, I decided to watch and I wasn't grossed out by it! :) haha.

Well even though the lady was gentle, it did leave a bruise.

This picture is a few days after I got my blood drawn, but I still have the bruise but it's not as bad! haha. {You kind of can't even tell there's a bruise there, but if you saw me in person I would show you and you would see it! haha.}

Well then sunday, I was getting out of the truck to go to church and I got this!!

Oww!! hahaha. These pictures don't do these scrapes and bruises justice!! hahaha.

But it's getting better now. haha.

On the flip side, I haven't had anything happen to me since {knock on wood! haha}

Tomorrow we are off to Utah so I got to get all my homework done tonight! YIKES!! haha.

Well I will tell you all about that later! haha.

And this weekend we will be watching General Conference {for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints}, which is when we get to hear our prophets and other leaders speak to us twice a year! I'm so excited!

And today was my last day in my foods class and I made these YUMMY cupcakes!! :D FROM Scratch!! :)

Coming to an End.

This semester is finally coming to an end.

But with that means a lot of studying and a lot of work.

Which means I won't be in the blogging world probably until the end of next week, so until then have a great 2 weeks!! :D

ALMOST DONE!!!

There are only 3 1/2 weeks left this semester and then I'll be done until fall and I will be a sophomore!!! YAY!!

You Gotta Love February... haha.

Not much has been going on lately. haha. Except over the weekend!!

Saturday the cheerleaders had competition and they did really good for having to switch it around that week because a girl was ineligible. ha. And Also... Friday I made Orange Rolls and brought them to the cheerleaders and they thought they were the best they had ever tried so that is definitely a make again recipe.... but I didn't take pictures. dang it! haha.

Well then it's calving season and I went with Aust to check on the cows and calves and there were a ton! And they were so cute! {You might not think they are cute, but I think they are... they are just so tiny!! haha.} There was one that was just born and it was trying to stand up and it kept falling over, it was so sad! :( haha. But it finally was able to master standing up and walking! :) haha.

Then Sunday we had dinner at my mom's and it was really fun and we all went up and looked at our baby books and just talked... it was great! :)

And then other than that, I've just been doing homework and crocheting some cute things!! :) haha.

SNOW going to the Burg....

Holy loly!!! Guess what!
Today I had to take a trip into Rexburg, because I thought that I didn't have to have a certain book but then found out that I did have to have it, so I drove in there and as I got closer and closer... it was snowing more and more!

As I was in there I almost slid through a stop light and almost slid off the road... yikes! But luckily I know how to drive on winter Idaho roads, so I was safe :) well I got my book and it was $100 less than I thought it was going to be! Woohoo! Well as I got closer and closer to home, it was snowing less and less, until it wasn't snowing at all... exactly how it was when I left!

I never thought I would be excited for snow... but when you live somewhere where its supposed to snow in october and it doesn't... then when you all the sudden see it... you get a little smile because what's winter with no snow? Its actually really nice with no snow... but Idaho has to have snow! Haha :)

Thanksgiving and Gearing Up!

The day before Thanksgiving, I had a Pie Making Party with my mom, sister, and Stink! :)

Stinko played the piano for me when I first got there and he is like a PRO now!!! :D haha.

Rusten is such a cute little brother!! :)

Ya... Ty and Aust just sat there as we baked! haha.

We made 6 different kinds of pie, but you will see those later in the post! :D

YAY!!

That night, Rusten stayed the night at our house! :)

And Thanksgiving day, before we were off to my mom's for din din, we played a little DANCE CENTRAL!! :D

{THAT IS RIGHT!! CHAMPION!! :D}

Well we got there and for an appetizer we had a peanut butter cheeseball and a normal one, and as you can tell from this picture, they were a HUGE hit! :D

So this turkey was so confusing! haha. My mom had Tyler and I help her pour the liquids in that pot next to it, but we didn't get what she was telling us to do until we were in the middle of it! haha. It was great! :)

My mom's brother and sister and their families came up for Thanksgiving and it was so fun! Because usually we go to Utah or something, but they came here this time! :D

My cousin has two CUTE little girls and I loved trying to make Olivia smile and Gracie make a roll! :)

Saturday we went to The Forgotten Carols and afterwards went to Orange Leaf... Which is my favorite!! SERIOUSLY! If you haven't gone... you NEED to!! :D

Then we went on a double with Austin's best friend Kyle, and his girlyfriend Justine! :)

We went spotlighting and then went to the SNAKE PIT!!!

It was freaky!

And there was a SNAKE!! EWWW!!

Then I found these Reese's and I want them for a stocking stuffer!!! THEY. LOOK. AMAZING!!! :D 1 pound of chocolate, peanut butter goodness... mm..mmm...mmmm!! :D

For Christmas Season I made this wreath!!!

SO EASY!!

You just take a hanger and put ornaments on it and then hang it with ribbon! :D

OH.... and we went BLACK FRIDAY shopping!! :) It was a blast!

We went at 2 in the morning and we were done by 8 in the morning!

And we got a few things online too!! There was WAY better deals online! :D

Well after we came out of Home Depot we got some breakfast sandwiches! :D

We thought they were so good, that a few days later, we made our own kind! :D

Then for a Sunday dinner I made BBQ Shreded Chicken, Fries, Applesauce, and Potato Salad!! :D It was DELISH and really easy!! :)

Then I got a facial done from Mary Kay and I bought this Foundation Primer!! :)

It feels like you are rubbing like Silky AIR on your face!! It's awesome! :) I even made Austin try it! :) hahahah. Well not the facial, but the primer! :)

Then Austin's grandma gave us a Christmas Tree, PRE-LIT!! And we love it! :) I decorated it the other day and I have a few decorations around the house, but There aren't many, so the tree is the biggest, so I took a picture of that! :D

Next week is finals week, and this week and next week we've been having presentations in my english class and these boys did theirs on how beards should be allowed on the BYUI campus.... so they handed out these beards and had us wear them during their presentation!! hahahaha.

Austin calls this the Lumberjack Smile! haha. :)

Midterms, and a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

K sorry about the lack of blogging... I had midterms last week and that consumed my life!! hahaha. But let me fill you in on the things I've been doing! :)

2 Saturdays ago, Sheena and I went to her Mother-in-Law's Super Saturday!

It was so fun!

Then Austin and I had FHE with some friends in the ward and I forgot to take pictures while we were there, but here is the dessert I made for it!

Reese's Cheesecake Brownies.. got the recipe from the LOVELY pinterest!! :)

Man oh man was it DELISH!!!! YES!! :D

Then this last Saturday we threw a bridal shower for Sheena's best friend Chelsi who is getting married to one of Tyler's friends!! haha. This is Chelsi:

K.. so Austin and I subscribed to the Ensign like in SEPTEMBER!!!

Well they told us when we subscribed that we wouldn't get september, but we would get october....

Well october came and we didn't get one! So we called and they said that we wouln't get the october one, but we would get the November one! haha.

So by now we were thinking we wouldn't get it at all!!!!

But as we were on our way to our hot date saturday we stopped at the post office and guess what we got!!!! See for yourself:

I don't think we've ever been so excited for an Ensign. hahaha.
For our date we went to din din at Red Robin! :)

And we got a Peach Lemonade and it tasted like a PEACH RING EXACTLY!!! YUM TO MY TUM!!! :D

Then we went to the Movie "The Big Year!" Oh. MY. GOODNESS.... it was so good and funny! :) haha. It has Jack Black, Owen Wilson, and Steve Martin in it, and it doesn't say the F word once!! And it's PG and it shows that family is the most important thing and that you don't have to cheat to get first place!! hahaha. :) Then we went to Cold Stone and got yummy Raspberry Sorbet with Raspberries, and a smoothie.. well the girl couldn't get the ice chunks to blend in, so she mae another one, and she was like, "Ok.. this one is on the house because you had to wait forever!" I told her that it was ok, I would pay, but she wouldn't let me! That was so nice! AND AWESOME!!! hahaha. :)

Then I forgot.... Friday the cheerleaders did a spook alley and Austin grabbed this girls leg and accidentally held it too long and she face planted it!! HAHAHA.... we were the scary people and it shouldn't have been funny but it was sad and funny.. because he didn't realize what had happened!! hahaha. :)

Well.. Happy Halloween today!!! If you get the chance... come trick-or-treating to my house!! Because we have like BUCKETS of candy!! SO COME ON OVER!! :D haha.

And I guess your out of luck if you don't live around here, because we have some good treats to give out! haha. :)
