Day 5 & 6: Shopping, Rose Bowl, and Home! :)

January 2nd 2012 was DAY #5!! :)

It was fun!

It was a guys day and a girls day! :)

The guys went to the Rose Bowl and they were routing for the Oregon Ducks... who won!! :) {And might I add... we may or may not have ordered Oregon Ducks Workout shorts!}

Well... While the boys were at the Rose Bowl, us girls went SHOPPING!!!

{This isn't all the girls, but this is the only picture that was taken on the trip... dang it! ha.}

K seriously... the mall we went to, when we got there I thought I died and went to heaven!! IT. WAS. HUGE!!! It was 3 stories and had every store imaginable!! Bloomingdale's, Nordstroms, Tiffany & Co, etc!! It was so great!! :) I got REALLY cute shoes, and some tops! :) You will see pictures in a later post {recapping what happened in January :)}!! :) haha.

Then we went back to our Hotel and got our last night of sleep in California....

Day #6 was January 3rd, and we were on our way home... we went to the airport and flew home. And we stopped off at the mall in Utah, and then we stopped at TACO BELL for lunch.. YUM YUM!! :D

It was SUCH a great vacay! I had so much fun! Especially because I got to spend it with Austin!! :) I automatically had a partner for every ride.. it was awesome!! haha. :) It was so fun talking about it before we were even married, and then waiting like 8ish months to go!! :D haha. Definitely worth the wait!

Once we got home, we got ready for school to start the next day {ps... after this semester I will be a sophomore!! :)}.

Day 3: Disneyland! :D New Year's Eve!

December 31st was our 3rd day of vacation.

We went to Disneyland and it was a blast!

It was so fun going there during Christmas season because it was all decked out in Christmas. :) This tree is HUGE And it had so many ornaments on it! :)

The only thing that stinks about Christmastime at Disneyland is it was SO busy! haha. But at Disneyland, fast passes are FREE!! hahaha. So we did a few fast passes.

These ducks were crazy! We fed them a little bit and then they were all swarming around us! So Jordan made a trail of food to see if they would come up so we could take a picture, but they didn't... dang it! haha.

We waited in line at the Haunted Mansion for 3 hours!! It was crazy... but it made time go by while we were waiting for our fast passes at Space Mountain.

Well then we went on Space Mountain and it was a BLAST!

We also went on Matterhorn TWICE!! :D

And we just found out that they are taking that ride out... :( ha.

Then we rode the Monorail and it was fun to see everything from up high. :)

And there was the parade going on and it was busy.

I got Minnie Mouse Ears!!! YAY!!

Then they lit the castle! :)

We rode Splash Mountain and we all got SOAKED!!!!!!!

It was crazy! And it was even at parts that weren't like supposed to splash a lot, but it did! ha.

And we all pulled crazy faces for the picture, but I didn't take a picture of it. ha.

{Can tou tell how wet we are?? I wore dark pants so you can't tell, but I got soaked... you can see from my hair. and One of my toms got soaked... I don't know if you can see that either. ha.}

We went shopping and got some sweet stuff... Some Mickey and Minnie Mouse Shot glasses.. haha. Because they were so cute! :) And we collect them wherever we go... even though we don't drink.. haha. We could use water.. lol. jk. They're just for collection! :)

They had fireworks and we decided to stay for the 8:00 ones but it was so foggy we couldn't see them... then we decided not to stay for the New Year's Eve fireworks because it was so packed and we were cold and tired, so we took a trip to Wal Mart..

And we got sparkling cider and oreos and pizza and we went back to the hotel and watched the celebration and the ball drop, but I fell asleep way before midnight, and everyone else didn't last until midnight either.. hahaha.

But it was a great fun day! :)

Day 2: Universal Studios and LA. :)

December 30, 2011 was our second day of vacay! :)

We had to stop in LA to get tickets for the boys event they went to on the last day of vacation.

And we stopped by the Staples Center :)

Well , while we were there, this guy asked if we wanted to get tickets to the opening night of the LA Clippers. We talked the guy down and got tickets... :)

We were excited, even though they weren't that great of seats {second row from the very top to be exact. haha. But it was SO fun!}

Well then we were off to Universal Studios! :)

As we were on our way we saw the Hollywood sign and we tried to get pictures while we were driving... we didn't have much luck.... for example, look at the following picture and it will explain most of our pictures...

But then, I was just snapping like crazy and I got A PICTURE!! WOOHOO! :D

Alex, Hannah, and I were the ones trying to get pictures, and once I got the pictures I was freaking out!! WOOHOO.... it was A.W.E.S.O.M.E!! :D

And we finally arrived!

Then we saw whoo land.

Well then Universal Studios had a sign of the Hollywood sign, but I liked my real picture better! :D

Then we went on a tour of Universal Studios!

This is in Bruce almighty... it is a B-E-A-Utiful day! ha. :) And also... these buiding only have the front of it, they aren't real buildings! And they're made out of like styrafoam!! :)

Then they showed us that when it rains in movies, it comes from the telephone poles, and they showed us how they make floods :)

Then we passed whoo ville

And we also saw in the tour another flood, and I thought it was going to get in the bus and so I jumped on to the lady next to me and then realized and felt embarrassed. hahaha.

We also saw the Desperate Housewives set and they were shooting as we went through, but they were inside the houses. ha. And those houses are all right next to each other, but in the show they make it look so far away. ha. And then those houses... you could live in them, they have everything BUT a bathroom. haha.

Then we went to Waterworld.

{This guy was spraying people as they walked by and it was SO SO SO funny because the people couldn't figure out how they were getting wet. haha.}

Then the Waterworld show started.

Then we went to the animal show and they showed how they filmed animals when they're moving. They put them in front of a green screen and a fan is blowing so they fly and stay in front of the green screen. and they use a lot of food for them to do stuff.

It was SO fun!! :D

Then we explored the rest of the place. and the shopping there.

Then it was back to the Staples Center for the Clippers game!!! :D

{See... we were pretty far up. And it was so steep up there, I felt like if I were to fall I would just fall straight to the bottom!! hahahaha.}

I was so exhausted though that I fell asleep in the 4th quarter... hahaha. Ya.. I don't know how because it was SO loud! hahah. But then we went back to our hotel and went to bed.

It was such a fun filled day!! I loved it!
