4th of July Celebration!

Our 4th of July celebration started the day before! :) 

I started the 3rd off with trimming up some trees {It needs a chainsaw to some of the branches! ha}

Then we had a BBQ and fireworks at my in laws :) {and BOY was it WINDY!!}

 Then I started the 4th off by weeding my garden and putting some weed preventer in it and leveling the ground :) Nothing feels better than feeling like you already accomplished so much at the beginning of the day! :) I love fresh weeded gardens :D

Then we went to the Menan parade with my family and it was SO HOT {so we cooled off with some yummy snapple, which my lid said that most lipsticks have fish scales in them... uhh eww!! haha} then we looked at the booths and had so much fun!

Later we went to my mom's for din din, and celebrated my Grandma's 84th birthday!! :) Happy Birthday to her! :) She has the same birthday as America's Independence! :)

Then we headed off the I.F. to watch the fireworks with some friends and it was so much fun and we ended the night by going to Taco Bell! hahaha. :)

 {Yes my shorts are made out of men's jeans! haha. Don't judge! haha. I got the idea from a fashion blog and I love them!! They are comfy! So do yourself a favor and make a pair! :)}

 {My mom was so hardcore... she was in the air force! haha just kidding! :) Aust was like, "Man I feel like every time I see your mom I should salute her" So that is what my mom is doing! :) haha}

It was a great celebration!! :) It was our first celebreation as a married couple, because last 4th of July we were on our honeymoon and didn't celebrate. hahaha. :)

P.S. I don't know if you noticed... but I died my hair and got a trim! :) Do you like?? :) I was needing a change and dark brown was the only color I haven't tried yet. ha. Aust says my new nick name is no longer Aubs, it's Blackie. hahaha.

PARTAY!!!

I have had some good days! :D

This Thursday in my foods class we made bread sticks and pretzels! :)

Oh man.. They were seriously SO good! :)

I want to make them all the time! haha. :)

And wednesday night I made mint chocolate brownie yummy things!! :)

I found the recipe on pinterest of course, but I kind of changed it up and they were OH SO GOOD! :)

And Thursday night Hannah came and hung out with us and Kathryn made us Chicken Spaghetti and Pie!

Ya we had a ton of food that day! haha. :)

But it was all DELICIOUS! :D

Then Friday I went to my mom's and we chatted for a while and went to a Mary Kay party! It was fun! :D

Well today was my sister in law Ashley's BABY SHOWER!!!!

Oh my goodness it was so fun and cute!

It was fun to meet lots of new people and to see Ashley and all the other fam! :)

Alex, Hannah, and I had a great trip down in the back seat while Kathryn and Grandma Barrett were in the front! haha. :)

Well I didn't take ANY pictures, so sorry about that, but I wish you could've seen how cute it was!!!!

She got so many cute things too!!

The only pictures I have are the baby booties I crocheted for Ashley's cute little baby that I'm so excited for her to have!! :D

Well I made brown ones with lace all around them:

And purple ones with big bows and a pearl on them:

And yellow ones that were boots and they had little white buttons on the side:

It was so fun to make all those booties and it was so fun to go down to Utah for the Baby Shower!! :)

P.S. Today we went to the Gateway Mall and people in Utah take St. Patty's Day seriously, there was like a parade and everything! haha.

And like none of us were in green, and Alex was wearing red pants, haha, ya we didn't fit in to that crowd at all!! haha. :)

Leap Frog, Leap Day... Same thing! haha.

I hope you guys all had a GREAT leap year/day! ha. Because I know Aust and I had seriously such a great day!!! :D

Well today I was at my sister's between my lecture and lab and I was asking her if she had a good Leap Frog Day and she just kind of looked at me and Tyler said, "Leap Year!" hahhahaha. I was like, "Oh my gosh.. Leap Day not Leap Frog!" hahahaha. I totally forgot what it was called for a second and when I was called out on it I was a tad bit embarrassed. hahaha. But it was really funny! :)

Have a great 1st day of March {today I was on my way home and looked at the clock and it was 3:01 and I was like it's 3:01 on 3/01!! hahhah. :) Oh man... sometimes I crack myself up and people probably think I'm crazy! haha.

P.S. Today in my Foods class my partner and I made egg rolls and homeade sweet and sour sauce.. can you say HEAVENLY!!! Oh my goodness.. it was GREAT!! :) Aust said they are seriously the best egg rolls he has ever tried and they were yo!! :) They were SO SO SO good!! :D I was like, "We're goin in deep y'all!" hahha. I'm kidding.. I didn't say that, but I had to throw it in because I have been thinking of quotes from Just Go With It ALL day!! hahaha. :D

Valentine's Day! :)

Last week was Valentine's Day. We had a blast! :)

We had already seen The Vow on opening day, so we didn't join every other person who went and saw The Vow that day. ha.

We went to Winger's for Dinner and went to the mall, and just had a relaxing day! It was so fun!

This year for V-day I got Aust some sweet Basketball Shorts that have the O from Oregon Ducks on there and they are white and way cool, but I didn't take a picture! ha. And I also got him a Massive Kiss! :) haha

Not a kiss... a Hershey's kiss {although I did give him really big real kisses too! ha.}

I blurred out his face so you can pay attention to the massive Hershey's Kiss.. which he had already taken a bit out of.. dang it! haha.

And then he got me some workout shorts that also have the Oregon Ducks O on it...

{Don't pay attention to my face... just the gifts. ha. I hadn't gotten ready yet. ha.}

And he also got me the 5 Love Languages book.. which I told him I wanted like a few days before, so I didn't think he would get me it, but he did!! :)

He's full of surprises! haha. :)

P.S. So when we were at Winger's then there is this Beer Sampler thing that comes out on a platter with tons of little glasses of different kinds of beer on it... Well, we saw it and we were like, "I wonder if they can do flavored lemonades instead of beer!!" So we asked and our waitress said sure {And she acted like no one had asked that before.. which they probably hadn't... but now they probably will add that to their menu... haha. I'm kidding... but seriously!}, but it would've been more expensive than a normal sized flavored lemonades, and there were no refills, so we just went with the normal flavored lemonades and just got refills with the different flavors. ha. :) It was really funny though! :)

P.S.S. I started a Amazon Wishlist that I am so excited about, so my hubby can suprise me without asking what I want!! WOOHOO!! :D

1950s Party!! :)

So a few weeks ago, my mom asked me if I would take pictures at their 1950s ward party and I said sure! It was on Friday, Feb. 10th! It was so fun and set up like the 50s! There was a movie from the 50s playing and they had a diner, SO CUTE! It was so fun! :) And I decided to dress up too.. so I did my hair like the 50s and wore my black and white dress from Shabby Apple because it looked kinda like the 50s! :) Now I want to have like a family party or something 50s themed so I can dress up and everything again! It was so much fun! Here are some pictures! :)

So I tried to make Mine and Austin's picture look like a old photo, but it didn't really work out... haha. as you can see in the following picture.. I'll just stick with the one above! haha. :)

P.S.S. I'm also gonna vent for a second... Don't you hate when people lie to you?? ME TOO!! I got lied to today by some of my cheerleaders. They said their notes were in their bags and they were trying to forge notes, but I caught them in the act!! haha. I wish they would've just told the truth and said they didn't have their notes! AAAHHH... But whatever. ha. It's just crazy though how you see everything from a different perspective when you grow up. I love growing up, especially with my best friend! I love you SO much Aust!! :D Anyway... have a good night! :)

First Christmas Day as a married couple!

Christmas was so fun this year! :) we did a ton of things, but for now I'm just posting about Christmas day! :) We had a Christmas Eve party, but I didn't take pictures.. Dang it! But it was with my family and my step family! It was a blast! :D And we opened gifts with Austin's family because it was his year this Christmas, but I forgot to take pictures :(

Ok... So Christmas was on Sunday this year and it was so fun! We woke up early (Aust and I) and we just had Christmas Morning by ourselves.... It was So much fun! I love being married!

The Canon Rebel t3i... the screen moves and it takes sweet pictures and videos... and when you take videos, you can take pictures during the video!! AWESOME! haha. I seriously love it... I love it so much I took 350 pictures on Christmas Day alone!! hahahaha. So I'm just gonna share a few pictures with you! :) I pretty much took a picture every second. ha.

we went to The Egbert's house for breakfast, and it was so fun to spend time with my new family, and that they were all there!! Then we went to church and it was great to have such a strong spirit there! I love Christmastime, and listening to Christmas music.

After church, we were able to Skype with my brother who is on his mission in Brazil!

So we went to my mom's house!

Everyone was there except my sister JoDeeann, she had to work :(

And we waited until he called (well skyped), so here is all of us waiting!

And my Grandma Furrows and my cousin's FIANCE came over too to skype with Andrewinski! :)

Every year.. I get all the boys church socks for their Christmas gifts, and I do different things with them every year (for example, one year I made those Christmas PJ/Underwear things out of the socks :D)... Well this year, I decided to add candy in there and they were so excited!
