Memorial Day! :)

This Memorial Day was great! :) 

First I went to the Burton Cemetery and visited my dad's grave and my grandpa's grave.

It was so good to do that! And the top left picture is the flowers I took to my dad's grave! :)

Lately I have missed my dad so much. I just have gone through quite a lot lately and I haven't had my dad to turn to in these happy and rough times, but I do know that he is there comforting me in those rough times and rejoicing with me in those happy times. It's just crazy that it has already been almost 9 years since his wreck. My dad is the best, and those days when I am thinking about him and can't remember certain things, it makes me sad, but I'm so glad that I know what I know, so I know that I will see my dad again, and I am so excited for that! :) My family will be able to finally have another big group family hug! :)

I'm excited to see my grandpa again too! He was there for me so much and I am so glad he was! :)

Then we ate in Driggs with Austin's family and then we drove to Jackson and there was SNOW!! Crazy! So Austin and Blake went mountain biking down the Jackson Pass and Alex and I waited for them at the bottom, so I wasn't able to try out my new mountain bike that I got for my birthday, but hopefully I get to soon! :) When they were done, they were pretty dirty! haha. 

Then we went to Jackson and went shopping and I got some cute stuff! :) 

It was starting to get late and we knew it was time to get home, so we stopped at Swan Valley and got square ice cream which was YUM to my TUM!! :D 

We decided this is going to be our family tradition! :) I am so excited to carry on this tradition and have our kids enjoy it with us! :)

Recap of January Happenings! :)

Ok this is a little out of Order... haha. I forgot to upload these, so now I am.. haha. And you'll what it has to do with January later. :)

January was full of fun! :)

We got back from our vacation, which the next few pictures show what I bought :)

{I got this coat for Christmas from Austy! :)}

{I got these shoes on the day of shopping in California... I couldn't resist. haha. The sales person told me how much they were and I was like, "Let me think about it." So he started taking the shoes and I was like, "Can I carry around the shoes for a little?" He said, "You want to see if they feel right?" and I said ya. ha. So I walked around the store for like 2 seconds and went back and told him I wanted to buy them. He was like, "They felt right didn't they?" I said oh ya! hahaha. :)}

{And I got these cute tights when we were at Universal Studios :) I have been wanting a pair like this FOREVER, and I finally got some! :)}

Well... the day we got back school started. We are taking online classes, but I have a class on campus Thursdays and Aust has classes on Fridays. :)

Beautiful weather in January.. WHAT?? haha.

Carl's Jr. opened in Idaho Falls, so we took a trip there. :)

Then we went shopping at Wal Mart and I saw these cute candles.. I want one.. don't you?? :)

Then we went to Famous Dave's after we watched We Bought a Zoo. :)

We had a HUGE windstorm and dirt was flying everywhere.. the freeway was closed for a few days, and a TON of dirt got in the house, so I spent the next day after it stopped, cleaning up dirt. ha.

On January 20th, it was my mom's birthday!! YAY!! :D

It was so fun! I made Pretzel Salad:

Sheena made the cupcakes, and I brought my cupcake stand for her to put her cup cakes in.. :)

January was filled with tons of games to watch my cheerleaders cheer.

IT SNOWED!

We got asked by Austin's mom if we wanted to go to a Jazz game one day, so we went! :)

{And we stopped in Riverdale for Microsoft Office because that was the closest place that had it. haha. And we got dinner there :)}

{This was the score when we left because we had to leave early cause I had class the next morning. But the Jazz lost :(}

SNOW going to the Burg....

Holy loly!!! Guess what!
Today I had to take a trip into Rexburg, because I thought that I didn't have to have a certain book but then found out that I did have to have it, so I drove in there and as I got closer and closer... it was snowing more and more!

As I was in there I almost slid through a stop light and almost slid off the road... yikes! But luckily I know how to drive on winter Idaho roads, so I was safe :) well I got my book and it was $100 less than I thought it was going to be! Woohoo! Well as I got closer and closer to home, it was snowing less and less, until it wasn't snowing at all... exactly how it was when I left!

I never thought I would be excited for snow... but when you live somewhere where its supposed to snow in october and it doesn't... then when you all the sudden see it... you get a little smile because what's winter with no snow? Its actually really nice with no snow... but Idaho has to have snow! Haha :)

HECTIC!!! haha.

There is no water in my house... :(

So my cute little sister-in-law Hannah, then the other day she was driving truck for spud harvest and she turned the corner and was going down the road and her truck tipped a little and then she saw her tire roll in front of her! She stopped and she was scared... I don't blame her! I probably would've peed my pants if that happened to me! ahhaha. Not really but seriously... haha.

As you can see her tires fell off.... and this was their brand new truck they had gotten like 2 days before.... the below picture is the mark the axle left when it hit the road and was dragging....

This is how far one of the tires rolled.... haha.

Well that day I picked up pizzas for everyone and I decided to suprise my husband by sitting in his tractor.... This is his suprised face... hahaha. And it's through the rain... lol

Well then we got done adn decided to check out the truck again....

It looks like we pulled up to a car wreck huh??!! hahaha.

They decided to get the loader to lift up the axle....

Well they almost broke it going straight on, so they had to go from the side, so the loader wouldn't break... haha.

It was crazy... I feel so bad for Hannah... she's just sitting there mindin her own business and BAM!!! hahaha.

Well Aust and I went and visited my mom's house and this is what I found on the table:

Rusten is seriously like obsessed with these things... hahaha. When I lived at home I remember him always trying to get money so he could buy more of these.. haha.

Ok... so you know how it was raining?? Well here are some pics of the rain on campus.... and a suprise!!

It was raining too hard so Aust got off work Thursday and we went to town.. :)

And there were sheep crossing the road..

I saw a black lamb!!!! haha. So awesome!! :)

Then we came up on a SUPRISE..... Thursday at school is was SNOWING!! But not in Terreton, but then as we were on I-15 it started snowing and we started seeing the snow....

Doesn't it look FREEZING!!?? It was.. my hair was SOAKED... it looked like I had just gotten out of the shower... haha.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.... Snow is on the ground!! haha. IN OCTOBER?? WHAT?!?!?! haha.

We went to the mall and one of my favorite stores is coming soon!!! YAY!!! :D

I got rain boots!!! and an umbrella!!! :)

T.J. Maxx- $25!! :) And I also got a down comforter at T.J. Maxx for $25!!! It was a steal! :)

Doesn't snow at night look like stars?? haha.

Friday I was sick so I stayed home from school and just emailed my work to my teachers... Well Austin was so excited to get his massive TV remote programmed to our DVD player so we could watch a movie... hahaha. Check it!

I love Fall because it means Pumpkin stuff is Popular!!

The cheerleaders cheered at the Ririe game last night, so afterwards... we stopped by Rigby and went to Dairy Queen in Broulim's... I miss Rigby.. haha. Well we were freezing so we got warm food... but I had to get a Pumpkin Pie Blizzard!!! OH. MY. GOSH!!! I was in HEAVEN!!! SO SO SO GOOD!!! :D

Last night and today I've been getting Halloween decor ready....

Well I made this Happy Halloween Plaque this morning!! :)
What do you think!? Don't you love it? I do! :D

I was on Pinterest and I found this making signs with ink... you print your words off the computer backwards and then get the paper a little wet and rub it onto the wood.... well I tried it and it didn't work out that great for me... haha. It pretty much just very lightly showed the letters, so I took my handy dandy Sharpie and made the letters darker! :D Then I sanded the board after, and over top of the letters, so it looked old and really cute! :)

I'm so happy with how it turned out! :) And it was super easy... so if you are wanting a easy decoration, go buy a peice of wood and spraypaint it your desired color then sharpie on the words and sand down the sign to what you want!! :)
