Spring Wreath DIY :)

So my sister, our friend Chelsi, and I got together and decided to make wreaths...

Well I finally finished mine! :)

Here it is!

What you'll need is coffee filters, paint (or food coloring), time, a styrafoam wreath (don't use the gray tube things that you duct tape together... they bend too much! haha.), and hot glue!

What you do is dye the coffee filters whatever color you want by taking a ton and not separating them and dipping them in paint (diluted with water, or food coloring diluted!) and set them out to dry! :)

Then once they're dry you just start gluing like crazy until you have the thickness you want and you are done! :)

I had three colors and got one of each and then put a dab of hot glue and stuck the three colors on each dab. I glued them about 1 1/2 inches apart and when you do it like that, you don't have to put fillers on the sides because the three make it full! :)

I used ribbon to stick mine on my door because I didn't want it to be SO high. haha.

And I finally got to take my Christmas wreath down since I have a new one! hahaha. :)

You Gotta Love February... haha.

Not much has been going on lately. haha. Except over the weekend!!

Saturday the cheerleaders had competition and they did really good for having to switch it around that week because a girl was ineligible. ha. And Also... Friday I made Orange Rolls and brought them to the cheerleaders and they thought they were the best they had ever tried so that is definitely a make again recipe.... but I didn't take pictures. dang it! haha.

Well then it's calving season and I went with Aust to check on the cows and calves and there were a ton! And they were so cute! {You might not think they are cute, but I think they are... they are just so tiny!! haha.} There was one that was just born and it was trying to stand up and it kept falling over, it was so sad! :( haha. But it finally was able to master standing up and walking! :) haha.

They're so cute when they are brand new and they get ugly... hahaha.

Then Sunday we had dinner at my mom's and it was really fun and we all went up and looked at our baby books and just talked... it was great! :)

And then other than that, I've just been doing homework and crocheting some cute things!! :) haha.

Halloween!!! And The Game of Life!

So first off I just wanted to show you what I got when I was shopping!!

I never thought that I would be so excited for a cleaning supply... ha. But I guess that's what happens when you have your own house.. you just get all excited to get stuff to clean it! haha.

Well I got a PINK swiffer sweeper/mop thing!! I love it!

I seriously want to use it all the time now! I've used it twice already and I've only had it for a day! haha. :) Well.... when I used it twice I had only had it for a day. ha.

Now.... HALLOWEEN!!!

I have had halloween decor, but I haven't had time to set it up... well I finally set it up! :) not my wreath yet though :(... SOON though! :)

Well let me just tell you that I love the dollar store.. ha. I got my decor there and jazzed it up a bit! :) ha.

Also... You would think all of this stuff is chinsy since it's from the dollar store... but it's not! These things are heavy duty! :) Well most of it!
Then Austin and I had Caramel Apple Cider!!! OH MY GOSH!!! So good!

My sister-in-law commented on one of my posts that when it rains she likes to drink apple cider... so I've been craving it since then and I finally had some last night!! WOOHOO!! Thanks Ashley for reminding me about apple cider! :)

Ok.... so today in my first class was intense.

It's called History and Philosophy of Education....

Well we played the Game of Life today... in real life!

So I got my envelope and my name was Elana and it was Yellow.

And I got $1200.

So there was a station that was the bank, another one that was a realator, then there was an education booth, and a employment booth, a store, the judge, and last but not least... the JAIL and Sherriff!

K so we were told to get the most stuff and money... So I decide to get a job first so I can pay for a degree.. well... The lady giving the jobs was not giving me a job, so I decide to get a degree... well I walk over there and the lady looks at my name and tells me to try again later! WHAT THE... haha. So I decide something is wrong with my name! I was like, "ok.. so names that start with E have something wrong with them!"

Well I go back over to the employment booth and the sherriff comes over and looks at my name and tells me I'm going to jail... I ask why and she says because I hit the employment lady with a broom.... uhh.. what? I'm getting framed!!! haha. Well this really nice girl comes and bails me out, which bail was $15,000. She was so nice! so then I go back to the employment booth and I'm talking to this kid that his name starts with a c.... CHIPO... haha. He pronounced it Cheapo! haha. So Then we decided that only the people that their names started with an A were getting the goods... so he was like, "Your name could be Alex.." and I said his name could be Adam. Then Our teacher who was the banker and realator comes over and says to me, "You know, your life is half way over and I haven't ever seen you at the bank." So I respond, "Uhh... YA!!! Something is wrong with my name!" He says, "Are you a (and puts his hand in the shape of an L on his forehead)?" I say, "Well obviously because no one is paying attention to me!" He says, "It's your hereditary... you're lazy!!!" (Wow.. thank you sir!) haha. I got a few tears because I am such a sensitive person. I know it was a game, but still.. all these things people were saying to me hurt! WHY DO I HAVE TO BE SO DANG SENSITIVE WITH EVERYTHING? haha. well Bro. Magleby left and then Chipo left after he finally got a job and I went back to get a degree and had a smile on my face and tried to be as nice as I could and got declined AGAIN!!! So I go back to the employment place and wait. Well then I hear Chipo over at the Sherriff saying, "Her name is Elana... she's trying to tell people her name is something differeent than it is!" I'm like WHAT?? because that's my name... but then I finally got a job at the sweat shop, so I go up to get paid since it was pay day and I got paid $3000!!! and The banker was like, "Wow you finally got a job!" So I go back to the degree place so the sherriff can't find me and and I see that people are buying degrees. I walk up there and say, "Ok... I just have one question!" She says what. I say. "How much does it cost to buy a degree?" She replies, "How nuch did your bail cost?" I say, "Umm... I don't know" (because I forgot), so she says, "SHERRIFF!!! SHERRIFF!!!" DANG IT!! The sherriff comes over and arrests me. I didn't need to go again, I already had a sticker that said I'm a CRIMINAL, pasted on my shirt! So I go back to jail and one girl that is in there said that she was put in there because she wasn't getting paid and she was a maid, so she would go up to people and say that she cleaned their house and they would give her money, and the sherriff said that was stealing! haha. then the nice girl that bailed me out the first time was gonna bail me out this time too for $20,000 (and everyone in jail always had their name starting with an E!)... but then the game was over. We went back to our desks and I found out that the workers were stereotyping! All the people that their name started with an E were homeless!! Ahh.. hahaha.

So that's how my class went today! haha.

There is no water in my house... :(

So my cute little sister-in-law Hannah, then the other day she was driving truck for spud harvest and she turned the corner and was going down the road and her truck tipped a little and then she saw her tire roll in front of her! She stopped and she was scared... I don't blame her! I probably would've peed my pants if that happened to me! ahhaha. Not really but seriously... haha.

As you can see her tires fell off.... and this was their brand new truck they had gotten like 2 days before.... the below picture is the mark the axle left when it hit the road and was dragging....

Well that day I picked up pizzas for everyone and I decided to suprise my husband by sitting in his tractor.... This is his suprised face... hahaha. And it's through the rain... lol

Well then we got done adn decided to check out the truck again....

It looks like we pulled up to a car wreck huh??!! hahaha.

They decided to get the loader to lift up the axle....

Well they almost broke it going straight on, so they had to go from the side, so the loader wouldn't break... haha.

It was crazy... I feel so bad for Hannah... she's just sitting there mindin her own business and BAM!!! hahaha.

Well Aust and I went and visited my mom's house and this is what I found on the table:

Rusten is seriously like obsessed with these things... hahaha. When I lived at home I remember him always trying to get money so he could buy more of these.. haha.

Ok... so you know how it was raining?? Well here are some pics of the rain on campus.... and a suprise!!

It was raining too hard so Aust got off work Thursday and we went to town.. :)

And there were sheep crossing the road..

I saw a black lamb!!!! haha. So awesome!! :)

Then we came up on a SUPRISE..... Thursday at school is was SNOWING!! But not in Terreton, but then as we were on I-15 it started snowing and we started seeing the snow....

Doesn't it look FREEZING!!?? It was.. my hair was SOAKED... it looked like I had just gotten out of the shower... haha.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.... Snow is on the ground!! haha. IN OCTOBER?? WHAT?!?!?! haha.

We went to the mall and one of my favorite stores is coming soon!!! YAY!!! :D

I got rain boots!!! and an umbrella!!! :)

T.J. Maxx- $25!! :) And I also got a down comforter at T.J. Maxx for $25!!! It was a steal! :)

Doesn't snow at night look like stars?? haha.

Friday I was sick so I stayed home from school and just emailed my work to my teachers... Well Austin was so excited to get his massive TV remote programmed to our DVD player so we could watch a movie... hahaha. Check it!

I love Fall because it means Pumpkin stuff is Popular!!

The cheerleaders cheered at the Ririe game last night, so afterwards... we stopped by Rigby and went to Dairy Queen in Broulim's... I miss Rigby.. haha. Well we were freezing so we got warm food... but I had to get a Pumpkin Pie Blizzard!!! OH. MY. GOSH!!! I was in HEAVEN!!! SO SO SO GOOD!!! :D

Last night and today I've been getting Halloween decor ready....

Well I made this Happy Halloween Plaque this morning!! :)
What do you think!? Don't you love it? I do! :D

I was on Pinterest and I found this making signs with ink... you print your words off the computer backwards and then get the paper a little wet and rub it onto the wood.... well I tried it and it didn't work out that great for me... haha. It pretty much just very lightly showed the letters, so I took my handy dandy Sharpie and made the letters darker! :D Then I sanded the board after, and over top of the letters, so it looked old and really cute! :)

I'm so happy with how it turned out! :) And it was super easy... so if you are wanting a easy decoration, go buy a peice of wood and spraypaint it your desired color then sharpie on the words and sand down the sign to what you want!! :)

Spud Harvest and Weekend :)

So it's spud harvest season! :)

My job is to bring dinner to the working people! haha. :)

Well one night Aust came home and we decided we wanted hamburgers... Well we made them and realized we didn't have Hamburger Buns.... uhhh... ya.. so we used bread. haha. :)

Then we went to use ketchup and there was none... so we used barbeque sauce which was actually really good! :) haaha.

Then... this weekend is general conference... it is so good so far!

There is one more session and I'm so excited! :)

Well so this morning I decided to make cinnamon roll pancakes because I joined pinterest (Which by the way is such a awesome site!!) and I found theses pancakes like the day I started... ha. So here is the ones I made this morning!! SO SO SO GOOD!! :D

Then... yesterday I made these cute little baby shoes that I found on pinterest. :)

I haven't put the ruffles or elastic on yet but aren't they so cute and tiny!!?? :D haha.

I don't even know why I made them... just for fun I guess. :) haha.

Or maybe if my sister-in-law has a girl I'll give them to her! haha :)
