I'll become better... I promise. :)

So sorry for all the LONG posts lately. I just don't want to leave anything out. Soon though I will get everyone caught up and then hopefully I will be blogging more often. haha. :)

Well my cousin Stephanie came up and we had an adventure. We discovered this ghost town on the way to Rexburg, or so we thought. Well after we left my sister's house one night, we decided to check it out. We found out it was a shooting range, but it was still freaky at night. ha. So we drove around in it.

Don't you think that looks like a real person?? Well Steph and I saw it and started screaming cause we thought it was a person, but then we realized it was a scare crow. ha.

We were still scared out of our minds though. I told Steph we should get out and touch the building and she was afraid to. Well I got out and ran back in the car and shut the door as fast as I could. ha. Well Steph finally decided to come so we took a picture by one of the freaky buildings. It was crazy!

Eclipse anyone? I went to the midnight premiere of Eclipse. It was SO good. Definitely my favorite Twilight movie yet. :) I saw it with the Horn family.

I went on a nail painting streak. I painted my cousin's toenails, my fingernails, and my sister's toenails. :)

Have you ever just looked around in Barnes & Noble, but didn't buy anything? Well me and my sister decided to look around while my brother was getting surgery on his mouth and we found a book that had all the baby names in it. I found my name and was like, "Ummm.... elf ruler?" haha. And my sister Sheena's said God's gracious gift! Wow.. those are two complete opposite things. lol.

Have you ever been swathing?? I LOVE swathing! It's SO fun. I love farms and tractors. They are so interesting and fun. I wish I would've grown up on a farm, but I'm glad I have friends that let me come with them. :)

Ok funny story. So my mom bought us some of this Naked juice.

So as you can see it is on the floor. You're probably wondering how it happened and why someome would spill this yummy juice. ha. Ok. So I was putting away the butter and I turned around and my little brother was right behind me with a glass of juice. I didn't know he was behind me and my elbow hit his glass. It flew right into his face and it was ALL over him. ha. And all over the floor. It was funny cause it all happened in like one second. One second he was going to give the juice to Caroline, my brother's fun, cute, girlfriend, and the next second he has it spilt all over him and the floor. ha. He was a little mad, but everyone started laughing because it was so funny so he couln't get too mad. ha. After that I had to watch my elbows though and look before I turned around. :)

So at babysitting we were drawing and the kids wanted me to draw something for them. I decided to draw a picture of a person. ha. It isn't great but they loved it! :)

My mom asked me to cut strawberrys and I was cutting them and realized one looked like a heart!! :) so presh!

Did everyone have a good 4th of July weekend?? :) I did. It was SO fun. Saturday the 3rd, I had to go to Rigby Lake and pick up trash for a service project for cheer with the football players. Well then I went to the Idaho Falls parade with my mom and little brother.

Doesn't he just look so excited for a picture? haha.

Then that night I went to the Melaluca Fireworks with my friend Kallie. It was so much fun. I saw some people I hadn't seen for a while.

Then Sunday the 4th, was my grandma's birthday. Isn't she just so cute?

I made that chocolate cake! Yummy huh? :)

Well the 5th of July was when Menan celebrated the 4th of July. Us cheerleaders had a booth there and this is what I made for it:

This was my 4th of July outfit and then I got a Sarong!!! :) I am so excited to use it all the time when I go swimming! :)

I went shopping and got this hat. and the vest thing! :) Then Hannah and I went shopping that day too. :) She is so fun. I love playing with Hannah cause she is so cute and I feel like she's my long lost little sister. :) hahaha.

My mom, Rusten, and I decided to check out the space stuff at the visitor's center and it was AWESOME!! :) Definitely worth seeing. Then we walked around the temple and took some pictures :)

They always have the most beautiful flowers there! :)

I got some cute new gray shorts/capris. :) I love them.

So I go into Rexburg after I get my jeans and look at the sky and see this!! I was wondering what was going on. It made everything look orange. Then I found out the site caught on fire or something. CRAZY!!!

I got this new silver sweater cardigan thing! I love it. I think it is adorable. I have just been so happy with my purchases lately! :) Then I went to Twizl Berry and got a Peanut Butter frozen Yogurt and I think Cake Batter. Then I put like every candy bar on it and it was DELICIOUS!! :)

My cousin Steph came up again, but this time her family came too. I haven't seen my cousin Sabrina in so long it seems like. It was fun to see all of them and to meet their friends.

We ate at Craigo's and we went in the parking lot and started dancing. It was so fun. We were doing some crazy dancing. Then that night Steph and I made up a crazy rap that makes NO sense. haha. :) It was fun though. At first I just stood there and it looked boring so we redid it and I think I started bouncing too much cause I look like a phsyco!! haha. I love to see family though. It is so fun.

P.S. I am on a no texting streak as a challenge from my missionary.. and so far it isn't bad. I actually kind of enjoy not having to look at my screen with words on it all the time. haha. :)

Finding Emily Family Reunion

The middle of June we had our Finding Emily Family Reunion. My Aunt Nancy wrote a book on my ancestors and then decided to have a family reunion so we could see all the places my family went to. It was really fun. To get ready for it, I had to make a forest background. It look a while to paint it, but it was worth it in the end because they had to cutest play and used it as the background.

This is when I was in the process of painting it. I ran out of paint and got different colors and it was kind of bad, but I tried to mix then and make the same colors of green that I had before. ha.

The first day we got there and we were in the middle of nowhere learnign about things. It was like the first hot day since last summer so it was nice. Except I was wearing a very warm cardigan so I just was trying to stay as cool as I could. This included flapping my arms like I was flying so I could get air flowing across my skin. ha.

These are pictures of my grandpa's sister and his grandma. His grandma is Emily.

The second day we went to somewhere that wasn't as in the middle of nowhere as the other place because there was houses, but it was in Wyoming which is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. ha. I took pictures with Rusten and JoDeeann on the second day, and this day I had my hair up and I didn't get as hot. haha.

We went to a cemetary and this tree was growing out of a headstone. It was weird, so I had to take a picture. ha.

This is my cute mom acting like she was Mary, my grandpa's mom. She was being so stinkin cute with it. ha. she acted likie she didn't know what a microphone was, cause you know she wasn't my mom, she was Mary. haha. Then my uncle wrote my name it arabic. It is awesome. You read it from right to left instead of left to right. :)

This is the delicious dessert and dinner we had while we were up there. :)

The play was sleeping beauty and it was so cute! My cousin's daughter was sleeping beauty and she was talking like monotone and it was so funny. Like in one part she said, "This is the happiest day of my life." But she was monotone so it sounded so funny. haha. :) and do you recognize something?? haha. Yep... That's the background I painted! :)

The Finding Emily Family Reunion was a great experience. It was fun learnign more about my ancestors, and going on wagon rides to cemetaries to see some family and where they are barried. One headstone of my family's had their hair in a glass on the headstone! It was crazy. My family is like obsessed with hair. My grandma has this container of her like grandma's hair or some relative, right next to the guest bed! It is freaky. I don't know if it's there anymore, but when I was a little kid I remember always seeing it. haha.

We went and visited this hole in the ground that Emily and her family lived in, and I felt so bad. I am so thankful for my ancestors that came here and settled their land, and for what they sacrificed to get here. I am so thankful for everything my ancestors did basically. They are amazing. Along with all the other Pioneers. I am thankful I have a house for shelter and I don't have to walk thousands of miles to live somewhere. That reunion made me have a new look on life. :)

Catching Up? YES!

Ok so sorry about not posting anything for a MONTH!!! ha. I was thinking once summer started I would have ALL the time in the world to blog... but no! I have been even more busy it seems like. ha.

Cheer Captain anyone?? hahaha. Well I'm cheer captain and it's basically like I'm on call 24/7. ha. I love being captain, but that is what keeps me busy haha. But it's better to be busy than having nothing to do. haha. I am always taking calls and texts, complaints and compliments, and it's kind of nice because now I know whats going on with everone on the team. hahaha. It's like I have 25 daughters, and maybe more, but that's a later issue to discuss. hahaha. :)

Sydnee, Lou Lou, Dawson, Brady. Where are you? hahha. So I have a babysitting job. It's great. The kids I babysit are so stinkin cute. ha. Lou Lou told me she loved me and Sydnee told Lou Lou she can only say that to her parents and siblings. haha. It was pretty funny.

Fundraisers... Ok so for cheer we have had some fundraisers and we are having more. :) Well we had a 4th of July booth and I had to get watermelons. ha. It was quite fun. Then I made some sweet Hamburger cookies. Well I got this awesome thing called a sarong. It is the coolest thing EVER!! :)

Many more things have been going on. I will post pictures SOON... and I will tell more about what has been going on. ha. :)

Tomorrow is the 18 month mark!!! My missionary gets to burn his slacks!! WOOHOO!!!! 6 more months until I get to see him face to face. Who's excited?!?!? OH ME ME ME!!! haha. :)

Well everyone have a fantastic week? Day? hahha. How about until next time I blog. lol. :) Which I'm hoping is in the next few days.. but who knows. haha.

Basically I'm just loving being busy and having a great summer. haha. :)

Can I be on your blog?

So I was babysitting and Lou Lou was asleep, Sydnee was at a birthday party, and Brady was at work, so it was just me and Dawson. We couldn't decide what we wanted to do so we decided to draw for a while and we got sick of it after like an hour, so we decided to play a board game.

We went down to the game closet and found the game "The Game of Perfection." Neither of us has played it so we decided to try it out. It was SO much fun! It was scary when the time was up and all the pieces would pop up. I jumped every time. ha. But then I started getting good at it and I was able to get it done before the time was up. One time I got done and I stopped the time and then Dawson went to reset it so he started it again and right when he turned it on, it popped. So if I would've waited .000000....1 seconds, I wouldn't have won. haha. :)

Then I got home and my little brother I decided is the best smoothie maker EVER! ha. Well he made this one and it has Pina Coloda and a lot of other things in it and it was SO good. When Rusten gave it to me he was like, "Aubree, put that on your blog please!" So here you go Rusten, you and your smoothie skills are on my blog. haha. :)

Wednesday at babysitting...

So we found a marker...

It looks like a permanent marker doesn't it?

Well it's not. It's a dry-erase marker! :) We were drawing on my phone with it and it was so fun! :)

Sydnee was having so much fun, and then I decided to write on the back. haha.

After Maycee got done with her nap her and all the other kids grabbed marshmallows. They came up to me and I was in awe about how big the marshmallows were. ha. I have never seen such a big marshmallow in my life. It's like 4 put together. ha. Well We were having so much fun eating them and we went on the swings and Lou Lou dropped hers in the sand.

Don't you want a sand covered marshmallow? ha. Just kidding. It looks pretty gross huh? :)

I got home and guess what was there!...... YEP You guessed it. another one of Rusten's smoothies. ha. This one had peanut butter in it and fruits and it didn't look good but it was GERAT! :)

The Stampede Days Parade was on Saturday so i had to do some things to get ready for it. On thursday after cheer practice I spent 2 1/2 ish hours copying and cutting out fliers for the parade. It was crazy! there was 2000!!

Then Friday I got woken up to my phone ringing at 5:30 IN THE AM!! They told me the garage sale was cancelled and to let everyone know. ha. I wasn't planning on waking up early at all that day. ha. Well I had to make stars for the float for the parade so me and a few girls got together and made the stars and it took 4 HOURS!!!! ha. I don't think I've ever put this much time in to cheer. ha.

Well Saturday rolled around and everyone was texting me after 6 and they were supposed to be to the school at 6 am, so I was REALLY confused with the times. haha.

I decorated the truck for the parade and A&B productions is one of our cheer sponsors so they were in charge of our music for the parade and the boy that was doing the music, so the DJ I guess, haha. He was one of the cheerleaders brother's and he is so cute! ha. It was way fun!! :)

I saw a camel! It was in the parade!! :) They aren't soft they feel weird. ha. and they stand like their legs are gonna break off. It's funny!! haha. :)
